Transform Organic Waste into Revenue — Fully Automated BSF Systems
End-to-end municipal solutions: sorting, pulping, three-phase separation, controlled bioconversion, and on-site packaging — turning food waste into protein-rich larvae and premium organic fertilizer (frass). Configurable from 50–400 TPD.
Landfill Diversion
Cut methane by redirecting organics into a circular, measurable process.
New Revenue
Monetize larvae, frass, and recoverable oils with predictable outputs.
Automation
Industrial automation reduces handling, improves consistency, and lowers operating risk.
What We Deliver (End-to-End)
Automated Pre-Processing
- Reception, sorting to remove inorganics
- Fine grinding / pulping to uniform slurry
Three-Phase Separation (Tricanter)
- Solids / oil / water separation
- Stable feed paste for bioconversion
Controlled Bioconversion
- Insulated vertical modules (5-t & 10-t)
- Independent environmental control per module
Harvest & Refinement
- Trommel separates larvae vs frass
- Larvae treatment/packaging; frass bagging; oil collection
How It Works — Process Flow
Capacity & Scalability
Publish specific throughput once site conditions and manufacturer specs are confirmed for your project.
What You Can Produce
Protein-Rich Larvae
Wet or dried formats for poultry, aquaculture, and pet feed supply chains.
Organic Frass Fertilizer
Soil-health-building fertilizer rich in nutrients and beneficial microbes.
Recoverable Oils
Oil stream suitable for biofuel/bioenergy applications.
Why BSF with Rivzman Solutions
- Fully automated line reduces manual handling and variability
- Enclosed modules, ventilation/odour control, and vector management
- Repeatable growth via controlled temperature, humidity, and feed rates
- Local support for design, commissioning, and operations training in Australia
- Backed by manufacturer engineering and documented performance
Illustrative Performance Example
Case Study Snapshot — City-Scale Automation
- Municipal trucks discharge to enclosed silos
- Automated sorting and pulping feed a Tricanter line
- Homogenized paste distributed to controlled bioconversion modules
- Trommel separates larvae and frass; larvae are treated/packaged; frass is bagged; oils are collected
- Demonstrates continuous, enclosed, measurable throughput at urban volumes
Commercial Models
- Municipal build-own-operate or build-own-transfer
- Private operator with municipality feedstock agreement
- PPP structures for city waste diversion and product sales
What We Need to Quote
- Daily tonnage (min/max) & waste composition (food scraps, green waste, contamination %)
- Site location, available footprint, and utilities (power, water, drainage)
- Operational goals (throughput, product formats, staffing model)
- Timeline (EOI, RFP, target commissioning date)
FAQ
What feedstock contamination can the line handle?
Automated sorting removes typical inorganics; we size sorting and pulping for your contamination rate and set SOPs accordingly.
Will there be odour or pests?
The process is enclosed with ventilation and odour control. Vector control and sanitation SOPs are included in the operating plan.
How many staff are required?
Automation reduces labour. Staffing depends on throughput and shift model; we provide a manning plan in the proposal.
What about permitting and compliance?
We supply process documentation, emissions/effluent ranges, and biosecurity measures to support local approvals.
Can we sell the outputs locally?
Yes. We advise on product formats (wet larvae, dried/defatted meal, bagged frass) and introduce market channels where available.
What is the typical footprint?
It depends on tonnage and dwell time. We provide a layout covering reception, pre-processing, modules, and packaging for your site constraints.
Can the system start small and scale later?
Yes. Modules and pre-processing equipment can be phased. We design for today’s tonnage with clear expansion paths.
Do you offer operator training?
Yes. Commissioning, SOPs, safety, maintenance, and ongoing optimisation support are part of the rollout.
